| You shouldn't need any paperwork, you'd just have to confirm whether the airline requires cylinders to be either valves open and empty or fully removed.

| Id say if it looks like a home made bomb thing with lots of wires your going to get buggerd by a man with large hands and rubber gloves, then a nice stay in Guantanamo bay. Unless you like that sort of thing and a couple of months in Cuba! Good luck. |

| I've alway wanted to take my units away with me but for me it has always come down to insurance. getting it there i dont see as a problem but if you have some sort of accedent your insurance company will drop you like a hot flaming coal and them your realy stuffed i know from experance how much chamber treatment is.......and that is in this country(uk) i realy would not want to go thorugh is in anouther and then be stuck there with no way to pay! kind regards john routley

| Paperwork? when we flew to sharm last december with our YBOD no-one asked for any paperwork. they were happy that it was dive kit. (Gatwick, Astraeus) Chris |

| There is a thread on DIRx about divers (from Brussel) being refused to fly out RB to Egypt as the device is a "war object". These were standard RB (Inspo IIRC). Please check with the airline........ Chris
