| Apparently the difference between diving grade and welding grade is that diving grade is checked for purity before it is classed as diving. They are both filled from the same station. If it fails it presumably becomes welding grade, this would not be the sole source of welding grade obviously. With diving grade at least you now roughly what you're getting. |

| The tale I hear is that the differences between the grades is the paperwork trail to 'prove' how good it is. I had welding gear and if I'm short of a fill, or I just haven't got the time to boost it I'll use that. |

| I have just received a quote for diving grade O2, £18 per cylinder, why on earth play with welding grade? Diving He is £80. Presumably both prices exclude vat. There is a delivery charge and rental, but the prices aren't that bad really. |
