If Andy is saying the guy selling it is also the thief then none of the above applys but if someone buys it from ebay then they have bought it in good faith & if Andy said later & could prove that he had complained to ebay & the police then ebay is technically the auction house & if they have not acted on information from Andy then I would like to think that they are liable .
But the biggest issue i have is if someone does buy it in good faith ,then Andy says it will not be supported ! Andy will have written the theft of against Tax etc plus hopefully been paid out by his insurance company so all that happens is he has one seriously p***ed of person who wants to use there scr who then sells it & the circle starts again .
if you had it hpi then this would not have happened and yes they would have taken it from you if the car -bike -lorry was nicked as its not yours it the insurace companys.

HPI is crap

The lorry was HPI checked by the auction house & by the Scania main dealer & was even checked by the police after they had found me & it still came up clear ! & sorry but solicitors & the road haulage assocciation all said that it was mine so mine it stayed untill I sold it .
