Certainly would, and having seen Cedric's response to a real incident there is nobody that I would rather have around if I was in trouble.

I have trained and dived with Cedric and I am concerned by the lack of clarity of the reports from the latest Sra Keow dive however I all I see at the moment is somewhat retorical questions along the lines of "what if someone was planning to do a 240m dive and they relied on the same kit"... anyone planning such a dive would be rather stupid if they relied on one data set regardless of it's authenticity.

It will be interesting to know the whole story and one part of that story is the exact depth that Cedric logged on the dive be it 239m or 200m. I think it is a real shame that any confussion has been allowed and is now detracting from an amazing team acheivement.

You obviously have some kind of axe to grind, perhaps using english rhyming slang on an English dive forum is not the most straight forward way to comunicate with a Frenchman whom you could email directly, rather this is just another place to shout and throw virtual toys around.....

CCR_ADA if you know the real truth regarding the depth that Cedric logged on that dive you would be so kind as to post it rather than re-iterating your attack without any actual information that is not already posted by other people on other forums, FWIW implying that Cedric must be high on dope really does not cut the mustard with anyone that actually knows the man it just further reduces the value of your posting.

well hello!! oh dear friend of Cedric

Nice to see he has been viewing his thread on RBW so have been informed!!!Well the least he could do is grace them with some more shpiel and yes I would say he is the only one who knows the full story so lets see the profiles ?? I now would have grave doubts on the solo dives he claims !! Its up to the individual diver to choose their instructors

Do I take it you are one of his paying black clad DIR rebreather divers who now don't know what to do with there membership!! (anyway why pay ????mad as cheez to me ) Kit con fig is personal!! As I do solo diving most of the time im happy with my kit don't get me wrong if it floats your boat then fine there are some very good ideas that have been modified and now for some strange reason YOU HAVE TO PAY for them ?To get to be a DIR diver what the hell is that all about?

So good luck to you but I wouldn't put him on a pedestal he was so quick to post the so called 240m dive globally ?? I see he was quick to change his web site so how about all the diving forums !! he is a silly billy! If you would like to discuss it further there may be a forum around somewhere that eventually WILL I hope find out the truth

    thanks ccr_ada

Not wanting to seem to harsh, but can we have some constructive comment on this thread rather than mud slinging.

ccr_ada I think most people have the gist of what happened and now that you have made your comments, people can find out for themselves what really happened.

Please don't let this thread degenerate any further or it will be closed.

    Gareth,

It seems that the only thing constructed here was Cedric hitting 240m on this dive. Cedric posted this on every forum I'm on but he hasn't bothered to come back and change his story, other than a vague statement on RBW. IMO Cedric has some explaining to do and he seems to need some encouragement.
