FYI No I am not, however if it was a requirement for joining an expedition then I would be prepared to do it as it would only add to my knowledge, skills and ability to opperate more effectively in a team of divers who had been through similar training.

As a student of Cedric I am probably more disappointed by the mis-communication than you are, however I know that Cedric has been away in Greece and that other members of the team are also travelling in different places - I am hoping that when Cedric returns from his current trip he and the team will be getting their story straight and publically releasing it.

FWIW I have personally seen evidence from the Yamashiro dive that was unlikely to have been faked by dropping his VR3 over the side on a line to 185m keeping it down there for 20 mins and then slowly bringing it back to the surface Other dives that were more than "same cave" with Dr Mike have been deeper. Conspiracys have a lot more scope though if that is what interests you - it is clear that you have nothing to add in terms of evidence.

Until Cedric says what happened and provides evidence to that effect then IMHO everyone is right to be confused and suspicious, I think everyone who is interested in this event is in the same situation and must wait until Cedric clarifies it.

I look forward to this being resolved and to diving with Cedric again, the later is something you clearly something you do not want to do.

Hi all,

As you maybe know, I participated in a deep cave exploration in the south of Thailand a few weeks ago.
Mike Gad who was supposed to participate in the deep exploration dive but preferred to quit at the last minute, decided to attack me about the accuracy of the information I wrote about this deep dive. Amongst other things, the maximum depth I reached was aggressively questioned, based on what obviously looks like a way to solve a personal conflict.

People who don't blindly trust what they read on the Internet asked me to write a detailed clarification but because of my never-ending travels, I didn't really have the opportunity till now (since 3 weeks that Mike started to attack me and my students, I've been teaching rebreather courses in the Philippines, Greece, different parts of Thailand and France).

Sorry still cant see where you did the 240m or is it like the starfish mob and you add 20m to every dive! I know this now as I have dived some of the wrecks!!

I have been thinking about a new unit and doing deep diving, we all know the inspo has a depth limit and I saw this a factory meg down at 240m thats what im interested in!!

Then I find out it never and still cant see who is telling porkys and I would like to know the max depth for a meg! As I cant get on RBW (Tho' none can tell me why) The post Cedric has put has been contradicted by his fellow divers so I was giving the rest of the community a chance to see Bens side as well as he has not posted on here!

handsets are not rated to that depth>
nor are the sealed battery compartments>
both have to be filled with oil..very messy
depth rating more on the person rather than the unit ,i would have thought?
