I am asking the same question about lots of units I just happened to pick up on this and I don't like bulls*it! I am not a twat or a numpty well depending on what you class as a numpty ? Could you clarify plz!{ BY PM AS IT WOULD SPOIL THIS THREAD THANKS!}

I would also like to here about the bend that has been hushed up on that dive!

The truth has not come out yet but I hope it will soon ! A bit more every day! I posted to the ''ARMCHAIR DIVING THING'' To give every one Ben's side of the events as he hasn't posted here on YD and opened some threads up so everyone could see which I think is only fair

Guys, to disagree is fine and nobody is expecting everyone to sing from the same hymn sheet but please refrain from name calling, it is unnacceptable, not how things are done on YD and will result in the thread being locked.

Personally that action is a last resort but given the number of complaints that action is very close.

The issue here is with divers making false claims of both their diving and of the equipment they are using. The fact that it was meg is incidental . . . it could equally have been an inspiration. The point is that they have attempted to set a false data point for the units use. If i were in ISC's position, I would be equally as pissed off at them as the users or potential buyers. I can understand that having just brought a new meg you feel defensive over any possible criticism, but it is not the unit being criticised.

The F1 guages, or the deco software that they were using is in exactly the same situation.

Personally I am more disappointed in the human factor of people I looked up to telling porkies, but I can appreciate why others are interseted in finding out the validity or not of equipment claims.

Obviously I do not know the true facts. That is precicely why this thread exists. Please feel free to point out where I did. Otherwise, please try and keep your arguments rational!
