| Driving a Pelagian I managed to get a quick go on the unit yesterday. It's small and compact, I didn't try it, but I reckon it would fit in hand luggage!! Sat next to my Inspo it was about 2/3 the size even with 5L cylinders attached. Operation was simple and effective, if I was in the market for a CCR I would definately be looking at one. In fact if I had the money I would buy one now. The Inspo is too big to take on holiday, this isn't. First impressions is that it is a step back in technology compared to the Inspo, but it is simple and therefore there is less likely to go wrong. I liked the O2 addition with the variable valve as well as the manual button, it only took a few minutes to get it about right. I didn't take it deep, it was on a shore dive, 4.7m max, buoyancy wasn't a problem. I have written a much longer review, I've just got to decide where to put it. Any questions, I will try and answer. |

| what did you make of the body hugging counter lungs, did you find them less cumbersome than the inspo lungs? |

They definately feel like you have more freedom, not as free as OC, but a lot closer than other rebreathers. |

| I've just had a look at the website and it looks like a lot of it is under construction. Do you have an idea of the cost of a unit?

| The unit is £2700 without cylinders, backplate or wing. It takes normal cylinders of almost any size, they are producing longer cambands to go to 10's or 12's but the one I used had 5's on it. It will also take any backplate and wing, I used my old one off my twinset, the counterlungs just fit over the straps and more or less follow them down. |

| Where the hell to the stages clip off on the chest??? Apart from that and the totally stupid idea of having the tanks that way up, it looks very interesting. ATB Mark Chase
