| Lee, If you go onto rebreatherworld there are lots of guy's on there that should be able to help you, having said that there are lots of extremely experience RB divers on here as well, thought I'd get that in first guys/gals before you start

| dont know what sort of CCR you're planning on...if it's a Meg, Jill Heinerth comes extermely hightly recommended (Jill Heinerth and Rebreather Pro) if you're going for a Kiss: debersole.com is in Lakeland (near Orlando) diveriteexpress.com (Rebreather Express - Rebreathers, Accessories and Supplies) sell rebreathers and i think they may have links for instructors.....they sell Megs, Optimas, Evos and Inspirations, so you can check out pricing to see how much you could really save. |

| Not sure... If you can save VAT/ other tax then go for it... If it's because there are no instructors in the UK (e.g. the Dive Rite Optima) then probably would not get the unit, Customer support 1000 miles away is no support ... I would only do it to get trained at the manufacturer - in this case Megalodon (ISC) who are in Seattle. Again, I would not get a rebreather that does not have a significant number of users in the UK- unless you are going DIR.......then let's not go there! As somebody said, try Rebreatherworld, although it is biased towards the US Which unit are you thinking of getting?

I do most of my diving off the South Coast. But most of my training inland. Those that know me know why... |

I can break from a conversation and be back and take up where I left off in moments. I now have a new treatment plan and did a week's live aboard in the Hebrides and not only did every dive but ate every meal so I'm hopeful I've grown out of it. (Although that didn't stop me booking my Mod3 with a lake based school.) Coxing the club RIB tomorrow which is my other sea-legs trick. |
