Try monkey diving. Just a single side mounted without any BC, just backplate and wetsuit. Scooter is optional. I love it.

I paid £26000 for a car and sold it with 15,000miles on the clock for £16,000 less than two years later That hurt

Diving my £2500 kiss for four years and selling it for £1500 wouldent

But I doubt if that will hapen with the Revo costing about £3750 by the time its in the UK

If I had a Borris id sell it, possably a Meg or Vision but a KISS is so cheep (for a CCR) anyway Id be tempted to hang on to it.

OH and the answer to the GUE instructor who asked "could you have done those dives on OC?" is "No. I couldent afford to do it on OC"

I'll happily bet that by this time next year a second hand basic KISS will be £1500 or less. Year after, £1200 which is probably where it'll settle. It's getting old, I think we'll see CK's going for <£2k by the end of the summer.

I got three and a half years out of mine and sold it for a couple of hundred less than I got it for but that was including a lot spares, two sets of displays, spare MAV, etc. But... I only had a handful of enquiries, no more than 5, they were slow to come and only one that was serious.

It might be the current climate but I do think the CK and basic YBOD's are going to become increasingly harder to flog as they are starting to go out of vogue.

Sell now while they are still in demand.

Cheers,

Stuart

LOL, however one was a shore dive at Porthoustock and the other was 18m from the boat, both with OC buddies, long enough between them to require a change of s'lime , so I could not even counter with your answer as the dives probably cost more than OC

So - it's a wetsuit, a single, no wing / bcd and great fun?

It's diving in 1968 - that's what it is.

I always ask myself....

"Could the dives that you did on the O/C been done Inspo?", I have to answer, "Yes, easily."

I hope I never have to go back to O/C.

Seriously, there is nothing better in the whole world than a really tidy sidemount setup.

My SAC dropped from an average of 18lpm to 14lpm swapping from backmounted twins to sidemounted one each side.

Oh, and you don't need backplate, you just use a sidemount harness.

Lou, when I've got my sidemount harness kicking around and some time I'll come down south west so you can have a play. It is lovely.

Digs.
