You have to be good and WELL known to be on this pay scale, and as a GREENIE, that wouldn't be for the next 5 years at least , and thats you working every day of the year nearly. In 5 or 10 years time , there will be a 1/4 of the divers that are around today, like a car factory that employed 0000's of people until they discovered that robots can do the same work and work longer hours. Thats how commercial diving has gone. Robots / Rov's They don't get bent. No limit of time. No limit on depth ( will go to depths a diver can ). No need to employ a 4 man dive team. Work with no safety support. Work in all weathers. Work in more of a tide. Would i do a commie course again in the future,,,,,,,,, Would i hell.
