| Commercial diving Hello there, I went to Bovisand about ten years ago, did my HSE 1, and been in the industry ever since, I now live in the USA on the East coast up near Maine, moved here because my wife is American, you now the score !! Anyway, I am looking into working elsewhere in the winter months as it gets realy cold here, like, way below freezing, I am talking sit in the house all winter cold !!!!! I have all my own gear, 17B H/water Suit, dry suit etc, etc, etc. also be good to work with my fellow countrymen again, the Yanks are a good bunch, but tend to whine alot !!!! "Whats my air preasure" "Something touched my leg" "Jump the standby" "OK, I think Im ready to leave surface"!!!!! see what I mean, and they insist on using Hot water all the time, I could go on..... So, even just to talk to some Brit Divers would be great, just to keep myself in with currant affairs !!! Rob |
