Cool ...clearing your ears..

..can be tricky. There is some sort of nose block which seems a bit of a hit and miss affair (in my case it stuck in one nostril).

Perhaps the pros might explain how to do it right!

I've visited the YDTC in Appleton Roebuck and I must say that I had a very enjoyable day there. They can offer either standard dress rig dives or Kirby Morgan dives in their 5m tank. After a tank dive I would suggest that you try out their hyperbaric chamber dive experience. They'll brief you throughly on the workings of a chamber and then sit you inside for a 50mtr dry dive. It's a real hoot, your voice goes squeaky and you get narked.

Had a great day out, well worth the drive from Cambridge and they include a pie and mash lunch!

Most fun I've had in rubber I have to say

Great to do the full Seibe Gorman gear, feck is it heavy ! Wierd feeling when they screw the helmet on though, they seem sooooooo big until they fasten it on your head, then it's like whoaaaaaaaaa thats a bit small.

Good day out, great folks up there, Steve runs a darned good day out at a fabulous price and lunch thrown in.

Get along when you can folks.

With all the knobs about make sure you don't open the 'porthole' by mistake.
