Question Kirby Morgan Band Mask - Bimbling?

Morning all

I have managed to convince my thesis tutor to let me borrow the kirby morgan band mask we have at uni (got about 6 hours in total using the thing now). He was saying about using my indy twinset, one tank for main supply, the other linked to the backup - and my thoughts; i am staying put playing around on the 6m shelf in stoney.

Has there been anyone else turn up and use a KM band mask like this before at stoney? There must have been with all you mad commies

Think im going the same way after the week in fort william

I use my 10 on my kit sometimes.......

normally when using twin 12's a a bailout ........

Not for posing in Stoney though,,,, but when doing cold deep stuff, when i don't want the AGA.

MY ADVICE is play with it in the pool a few times , before going to Stoney. last thing you need is some numpty zipping and spidering you up loose and you get a flood.

aye

top of my list after my exams this week on pipeline design and installation, underwater vehicles and dive science; is to get my arse straight into our test tank here at cranfield and have a play there in controlled conditions. Dont fancy a flood as one numpty a while back didnt seal my toilet seat well round the base of the helmet and no one picked it up - ended up with the helmet on free flow after 5 mins when i realised what happened.

Going to take a mask with me incase the s**t hits the fan and i can bail out onto the pony or my buddy`s spare air

Talking Ocean Reef ...the lighter alternative

read your interesting piece on the KM bandmask... have recently taken to using the NeptuneII mask... the comms are great and the mask is held so lightly on the face it may as well not be there.... good luck with the exams.
