Question KM Exo 26???!!!

I have have an Exo26 now for a year or so, and had problems with it free-flowing. I would like to use it for open circuit scuba, and any info on getting it to work would be greatful., which 1st stage to use etc etc.

edit: had a few beers

It's a sensitive unit. I have been using something like 110psi for 1st stage pressure. I am sure if you contacted the folks in California they would be more than happy to give you the correct operating specs.

As per scuba, if it is for something non-commercial it is a total gas hog.

Ta for that, i understand that i will use more gas, but I like to 'play' around with different equipment. When I have it working correctly I will probably sell it anyway and buy another 'toy'. I must say thou', its nice to know that you cant spit it out and breathe the liquid stuff !!! The fun bit is removing the f/face and replacing it with a norm. reg and mask......esp. when the water is below 6 degs.

Is this the line for surface supplied and intermediate pressure for tethered diving and using the KM Superflow? Tried one of these yet? The earlier ones could actually superflow right out of the mouth.

The Superflow regulator of the early days...this is going back a few year(15 years)...gave excellent flow, but could blow right out of the mouth when tweaked a little too much. It was aptly named!

All of this is very old data. Cheers.
