| The rate probably reflects what the job entails - looking for damge, not mending it. All Taff wanted was a 'competent' diver, but once he told me that it would involve working in an overhead environment, I suggested it would probably mean the requirement for an HSE ticket. If anyone knows different, please shout up.

| hse ticket ?? i can't do it, but i would still like to know if an HSE ticket would be needed for this type of work ?? or if there is a special 'overheard environment' diving ticket (ie. cave) that could be applied what about dedicated insurance or would the employer have insurance to cover that ?? |

I think, if you are paid to dive then you have to comply with the requirements of DWR1997, so a HSE medical will be required possibly HSE scuba ticket. may be wrong Andy the Commie would probably be able to tell you.

| Sounds more like confined spaces working to me. I take it the pools are empty during maintenance?
