it's sat around all day beside the water, getting bronzed.... and some contractor is issuing big fat cheques at you for just having the odd little dip now and then...

And as i have been told by a few on here, it's fcuking safe as we have 3 other men to help us while we do the job.........

We have a bloke down the local who play's footie for his electrical company's side. He turns out every Sunday and trains every Weds unless his girlfriend wants some late shopping. He reckons David Beckham is a "merchant banker" and can't understand why a club like Real Madrid would waste their money. Where did he get the inside knowledge that Real didn't?

Makes you wonder doesn't it, I mean why so many people at the lower end of it all believe those at the top are tw*ts who shouldn't be there.

Catch 22 comes up a lot. There is such a situation in professional diving - you pass you HSE course (the easy bit) THEN you have to prove you can DO it in the real world. Its not about 'can't get a job unless you have experience' etc, it's about applying yourself to become a real professional.

I don't know for sure, but the hours that Mr. Beckham spent running, squat-thrusting, V-sitting and grid-sprinting while his pals went down the chippy must have made him lucky enough... or matey down the pub is talkin' shite!
