Does anyone know what the weight of the whole standard dress kit was, including the boots and suit.

Thanks

Give the guys at the historical diving society a call, sure they can help.

Pretty sure the helmet was 9 stone, not sure about the boots...

Don't know if it was a MkV but the set I tried, it weighed a ton. From a fairly hazy memory Boots 20lb each, 30 lb front weight, 30lb back weight. No idea what the collar and helmet weighed but I had bruises on my shoulder for a week.

Edit: one day I will work out how to post pictures

I was told when I did mine with those fabulous peeps in York that the combined weight of a Seibe Gorman std dress was 11 stone. It felt like 111 stone

If your sis needs pics of silly b*ggers in the gear I have those also, she's welcome to them. Just PM me an email addy.

Refers card 31's info. Lists it as "about 180 pounds" which from memory is about right, having worn it quite a few times at HDS dives.
For the hard of thinking thats about 12 stone 12.
