Is It Worth Leaving!!!

Is it worth leaving your job at this point it time to go commie diver, is the money and the work there to make a living. I know this has been covered before but the work in the field is as fluid as the substance we work in. So all the working commies out there whats the score at the moment.

Good jobs in the states at the minute.,,.... ideal if ya young and single and can go at the drop of a ' hat '

If you fancy it give it a shot mate why the hell not you must have racked up a decent pension by now if it goes tits up there's plenty of other work out there. If i thought i could pay the bills etc whilst training i'd give it a shot.

Me too, infact I'm that F#**#D off with where I work I'm think of doing it.

Something I've always wanted to do since I was at school.

All talk and no action though.

I'd find a commie job (or at least have something lined up with a reasonable chance of getting it) before you leave your current one - possibly a big chance of not finding anything, so why risk it? Not very exciting way of doing it though...

Scuby, you can't 'line something up' right now 'cos dive companies are in dire need of divers so whoever turns up and is ready to work he/she will get the job - they won't hold the door open for you. What is exciting Scuby is that saturation divers are getting perilously close to the $1,000 a day mark and should be there by the end of the year - superintendents like myself are being offered that right now so life for the 'commie' is on the way up - big time - as Andy McNabb would say.
