Do i need to be FAW qualified?

Hi guys,

I would really like to do my HSE scuba, I'm a Dive leader & rescue diver.
I like the sound of the 9 day course in Plymouth.

I'm a HPC registered Paramedic & work as a Paramedic every day. Do I need a FAW cert before i can do my HSE course.

Seems a bit pointless to me if i do, considering all the proceedures i can do & drugs i can give.

Rich

Hi I think you will find if you have the IHCD Techician/paramedic then you are exempted.
Thanks

Hi
I know of a FAW Trainer and assessor and he don't have to do the FAW because he is a IHCD Techician and HSE takes thats as a FAW ticket.

Thanks
