The backlight is just a connection made between the -ve and a pin on the meter. You can either run it through a switch or make a permanent connection. I'll include a schematic.

I think I've contacted everyone so far regarding deposits.

And Martin, sorry for not noticing that it was Finless that sneaked in and swiped the extra analyser. I'll do you a unit if you want one.

How much do the meters on their own work out at (unlit)?

The backlit ones are $32US and the standard ones are $30. However, change of plan folks... I've only had two or three request plain meters the rest want backlit. I get a bulk discount on the backlit ones but not enough for any discount on the plain ones.

So, the backlit meters are now $29 each and the plain ones are $30. If that is OK with everyone then I'm going to order all backlit. I will put a control switch for the light on the analysers, or I can just disconnect the light permanently.

I'll take orders for sensors when the analysers are ready.
