| Cheap O2 Analysers Hi Folks, I am ordering some LCD PPO2 displays for my rebreather from a US manufacturer and will have some spares. If anyone fancies it, I can make up some oxygen analysers. They will be about the size of a small fag packet, they will have backlit displays and will run off a PP3 9V battery. Sensor will be 3.5mm mono jack connector (Teledyne R17D or equivalent) as used on the Vandagraph. Parts I guess will come to about £35 plus a sensor. I can get sensors for about £25 but haven't used them so don't know what they are like. This isn't a commercial venture, just my tinkering. I'll be leaving one connection undone so it is down to you to make that final connection and verify that the meter works. I'm also not planning on doing more than 5. So if there are any takers: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Cheers, Stuart

| It'll save me looking online for one... Is it all assembled minus sensor? If so, I'll have on, ta! John |

| Hi Folks, so far we have: 1. Reeve 2. Callisto 3. MDemon 4. DaveJ 5. ? Everything will be assembled and tested and then one of the wires will be cut (probably the -ve lead). So you'll hve to make that connection yourself, screw the case together and test that it will work, basically so I can say that you assembled and tested it yourself. It sounds daft I know but I don't want a call from the Accident Helpline These meters are loads simpler than the Oxy Hacker ones or the El Cheapo kit. The meters are designed to measure the ratio between two inputs (the sensor and a static reference) so are perfect for the application. With the others you need to identify the right bit to chop off the meter and replace it with another resistor, a real pain. A couple of questions, who wants backlit meters and who doesn't? The plain ones are slightly cheaper, use less battery and will only require one switch. You can have whatever you like. And lastly do you want sensors? I'd recommend getting a batch from Oxycheq but I've found a supplier in Coventry that do an equivalent for half the price, don't know how reliable they are. I'm ordering one tomorrow to check them out. If they are OK then I'll let you know. Cheers, Stuart
