If you get a SK7 and want it wrist mounted, for god sake cut the strap off and replace it for something easier to use.

I've replaced mine with bungee, send me a PM if you want some photos of it.

Anyway Kate, i have got a compass and i can use it. What sort of kit whore would i be without a compass?

forgot to mention - whatever you do, steer clear of the little 'clipper' compasses Suunto and others do for about £5. Nice idea, right up to the point they fall apart the first time you use them.

I use mine on the back of my hand held by bungees if i really need to I can remove it and hold it out in front of me

Do you actually use it on your wrist or take it off?
When I used to have mine wrist mounted, I used bungees so that I could pull it off to hold in front of me.
