Talking Oceanic Atom

Hello all......

As part of my dive kit I have the Oceanic Atom dive computer with 1 transmitter. I have learned how to use most of it, but I can't seem to find if there is an avrage depth function.....does anybody out there know if there is one, and if so, how do I get it?

Also: If anyone else uses this computer, do you have any tips and tricks you could share with me?

Knowledge is power, right??

I had an Atom that was not satisfactory including the Transmitter Not Available display. I now have another in my possession. I do not seem to be able to get a pressure reading from the transmitter (paired by its serial number). The UK importer tells me they think it will only read once it is underwater but I find it hard to believe there is no facility to tell you tank pressure before jumping in.
Yes I have read the manual from cover to cover. Is there some angle not covered in the manual that I need to know about to get it to read a pressure from a tank in the dry?
I am taking it in the wet on Wednesday next. So any clues before that please!
