Deleting information from Suunto Mosquito

I have a second hand Suunto Mosquito and have looked through the manual to see if there's a way of deleting the previous person's dives (only 13), so that I can start with a blank canvas - I can't find anything in the manual and wondered if anyone was aware of how to do this please

The only way to delete info is to rack up some dives and push that persons data off the end of the table, so get cracking!

Hi Lynne

There's no way you can erase the old dives, not even by changing the battery

If you use the Suunto dive manager software, you can download the dives from the computer, and then tell the software to ignore the dives which aren't yours.

With the software, you can also reset the maximum dive depth, the accumulated dive time and change the name in the computer to yours ( you don't see this bit unless you download, default name is "suunto diver"

Hope that helps

Q. Why did the razorbill raise her bill?

A. So the sea urchin could see her chin!
