    VR3 nitrox change alert

Thanks to everyone that responded to my question. I have tried the simulation mode and it works fine - no sign of the NX alert. Still cant find any trace of NX34 stored in my gas mixes so hope that it is not a software glitch and does not get repeated next time on a proper dive.

    Best regards, Mark

    Another VR3 question.
I repaired/upgraded to a monochrome HD version back in April - not a lot of choice a couple of lines of pixels failed across stop times
It is now suggesting I send it back for a health check.

has anyone else come across this one?

It is rapidly heading for paperweight status! It has been back to Delta p 5 times in as many years.
Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence..........

    Don't say that
My pressure sensor started playing up after about 13 months. The VR3 was completing phantom dives in air, which got progressively worse (deeper). Weekend before last (15 months old) it finally gave up completely. I hope I don't see the same frequency of fault you have.
It said requires Windows XP or better......So I installed Linux!

After a couple of times back with a problem with the I/O connection its been a great computer.

After all most of them work faultlessly...and they are good when they work.

But when they don't it can be a tad alarming - mine decided to flood at 60+.

I have been an ardent fan of dive timers, tables etc ever since. I had those with me, more out of habit than real planning, when it did fail. All entertainng stuff
