Looking to get a VR3, only need the basic C1 open circuit one but was wondering how much it would cost to later upgrade to a C3 Open Circuit/Trimix? Want to compare with the diference in cost of just buying the C3 version now.

The cost should be £50 to upgrade between each model, ie: £50 from C1-C2, £50 from C2-C3, £150 to go all the way from a C1-C4.

You used to be able to do this over the phone direct to DeltaP, but you now have to go through a dealer, who will then phone DP, get the code, and give the code to you - I suppose it depends what dealer you go through, as to whether the dealer will take the opportunity to put an additional cost on top for the upgrade - I recently upgraded mine from C3-C4 for £50 through Kent Diving, so they do it at the basic price.

Recently negotiated a bit of a discount (not too much though!) on some upgrades to our VR3s. We contacted Delta P first to see what exactly we needed, and then contacted the shop we bought the VR3s from - PM me if you'd like any details.

Just had my VR3 arrive, in the Log there are already 2 dives dated sept 96, both with missed stops. Are they supposed to be there or have I ended up with one of the phantom dive VR3s?
