Yep, the fastex buckle feels more substantial than some I've seen on BCDs - s I'd be very surprised to see it fail!

Talking of VR3 straps...

I found the original fastex clip damn uncomfortable. And my VR3 was always coming loose. A Sunnto computer strap can be made to fit quite easily. Just put a couple nicks in the sides where the roll pin fits across.

VR3 Strap - idiot guide

Help

I know this makes me sound stupi but I took apart my VR3 strap to clean it and now I work out how it was threaded . Can some kind soul post a picture of the correct threading!
