Theres always the HS Explorer (sold through abyss). It depends on what you're diving, if you're on a breather, theres various integrated deco stuff on the go nowadays.

Plan B is of course just to use tables and D-timer. Im buggering around with VPM-B tables, did a trial last weekend 0f 65m for 30 mins. The deco 'felt' very clean..... ie... I was doing a tigger impression, whilst everyone else was flaked out and sleepy.

Barrie,

Thanks very much for the offer. I would love to try one out, but it may be best if I get the cash together first so that, if I decide I like it, then I can put my order in after the trial.

Besides, there is no way that the wife will believe that its a demo model when it drops through the letter box with my reputation as a kit whore !

Out of interest, as I'm not going to be doing trimix untill late this year, whats the cost of a 'basic' VR3 with just OC nitrox ?

Cheers,

John

Don't forget the download kit as well. Thats about another £140

Actually, I'm a little confused by the download kit. DeltaP say that it includes the IR interface, ProLog and ProPlanner up to your current PIN level but most of the shops I've seen selling it make no reference to ProPlanner and seem to offer it as an extra cost item. Is this right or amd I missing something?
