Bang-On, do you just pay for an He upgrade when you need it? Is there any firmware upgrade or is it just pin activation?

And am I being unreasonable in thinking that a computer costing £550 plus should come with a) a suitable screen guard and b) the ability to download dive info?

Mr Picky.

mdemon,
the he software is already in the vr3 as is the cc etc but you need the pin number to open it,all our vr3's come with a screen guard included although it's the stick on type not the new type these are about a tenner extra.
the vr3 has a log screen in it that you can look at dive profiles etc but the pc based 'prolog' does give further info and details and cost's about £120 with proplanner the dive planning software program.
delta-p now include the download cd 'prolog' but as i said earlier its only good for a look see,to use for dowloading etc payment is required.

cheers
