| OK can you help me with this. I put in the PIN code to upgrade to trimix. I set the gasses I'll be using and then I dived the unit. Now this is where you guys seem to be getting different results to me. The unit seemed to work perfectly. I've tried everything but i'm buggered if I can see a fault. Short of dropping it on the floor what else can I do? Please help me coz I'm really feeling left out. |

I did write more but I cut it back a bit in deference to YD's bandwidth budget. As I have said I'm not a great VR3 fan but view it as "least worst" of the current crop. My real sadness is dive computers will continue to be dominated by the "The computer is in charge" mentality. This might be true for what is known as recreational diving but for technical diving (I hate those words) it should not be the case. If the diver isn't in charge and making the decisions they shouldn't be down there. My preference would be conservatism that does not frig the model but controls how close you come to the model. Arbitrarily pretending you were a bit deeper etc. has no justification other than it has the same sort of effect. Good luck with the next release. I confess I never looked to see if there is a 'new version' system so I might be a bit behind. (1.2.7) nigelH |
