There is new software upgrade (version 3.0) available for the VR3 but not a new VR3. However a colour screen version of the VR3 will be available towards the end of the year. Those of you at the Birmingham dive show will be able to see a demo colour screen VR3.

Colour screen? Pah. How much do we need colour? Not very. It'd be nice to see one with a decent algorithm, not just Buhlmann, bit of Pyle stops + KG's fudge. If it could take on VPM-B or definable GFs they'd have a winner.
And anything other than that pisspot octopus game to keep people amused on stops, they've been promising new ones since the thing first came out several years ago.

If it's backlit, you'll be able to see the colours just fine...
