Ah, £750 for GUE Tech 1 or £880 for a shiny thing...  No contest. Always wanted to use the Force anyway....

hmmm, not quite sure where you read that matey. I've seen one in the flesh, its lighter than a VR3.

Theres spec data available at http://www.hs-eng.com/Explorer%20Specification.html

A full fledged 10 gas, CCR trimix unit is $1200.

Im not recommending it, just pointing out that it exists and is a competitor to the VR3. I guess where the VR3 scores highly is that the support is local to the UK.

PS. Im more of a tables man myself, too stupid to work a dive computer

<font color='#000080'>I recently bought a VR3 with OC trimix, and I personally think that its the mutts nuts! &nbsp;I can't understand these reports stating that its hard to use... frankly if you can't figure out how to use simply by picking it up and having a play, I don't fancy your chances of mixed gas diving.

Incidentally, one feature of prolog is a really good gas blending program, and you don't need the download upgrade to use it.
