Duracell Alkaline AA Pack 4 MN1500 Powerful and long lasting Duracell battery. Ideal for use in calculators Duracell Ultra AA Pack 4 MN1500 The most powerful Duracell battery. Meets demands of high drain technology. Designed specifically for high tech appliances with 50 % more life. For use in digital cameras, mini discs, camcorders and mobile phones Don't think the VR3 needs the Ultra version... the basic ones are more suitable. For pics see http://www.ryman.co.uk/Duracell-Ultr...1501015260.asp

I was also getting through batteries way too often but took my VR3 to DeltaP at the dive show in March. They said it was down to the switches being sticky and fixed it foc. No probs since.

Hi, My VR3 is only a few months old + I only get 4-5 dives per battery, I am scared to use the games while diving in case the battery goes flat !! I use Lithium batterys from Argos. I have tried to buy a 3.5v lithium but no-one has ever heard of them. Does anyone know where I could get some ? Thanks in advance.

If buttons are sticky do you see your VR3 switching on and off as I think this can be easily seen, as I never say it on by itself or find logged dives that were never done!

Just noticed that Pierre's battery appears to have one of those check the voltage strips in. You want to avoid using these in any underwater electronics. Increased ambient pressure could operate the indicator causing a voltage drop. The indicator can be disabled by cutting through it with a knife. The 3.6V AA lithium is available from photographic outlets or direct from DeltaP. Try 7dayshop Just a thought
