Further Query !!!!!! I have just checked the no stop limits on the VR3 and a Suunto Vyper and the VR3 seems to be the more conservative. Both computers set without any additional conservatism. Does this sound right ? I had thought, possibly mistakenly, that the Suunto's were one of the most conservative computers. Any enlightenment gratefully received!!!!! (I've noticed my average postings have increased dramatically since the arrival of the VR3)

Thanks Mark. The comparison was in relation to an air dive looking at the no deco limits (assuming no existing nitrogen loading). The VR3 manual suggests that the i/o port remains covered when not in use but all that comes with the VR3 is a plastic cover which it would appear could be easily knocked off. Is there a more substantial blank that can be put in or am I worrying unduly ... (Thanks again for all of the replies in relation to these VR3 queries)

I don't see how the cover could be "easily knocked off" mine is quite a tight fit and not at all easy to remove. Ian

Thanks Iani. Perhaps I am worrying about issues that don't exist but would you say its watertight or does it not need to be watertight, just tight enoughto exclude sand etc ?
