| VR3...nice kit shame about the manual and support Love my vr3....problem is, the manual is hopeless. If you want to go down one specific route, say calibrate your O2 analyser, there is no step A -Z section...you have to make sure you followed step 1 on page 2 and then ensure that bit on page god knows what....the manual is hopeless. The support, when you write to Delta P to say that you cannot work it out, because the manual is c rap, is about the same. I have fathomed most of it but can I calibrate my O2 sensor...even with the "help"of Delta P. I have trimix and CCR options. Just starting my trimix course next month. Love it all the same. I just bought a separate OMS O2 analyser..I was/am completely fed up with Delta P's manual and support. THE MANUAL IS HOPELESS, THE SUPPORT IS INDIFFERENT (they try, but give up). THE COMPUTER IS SUPERB. kinetic

| More gripes having used the VR3 for some time: 1. despite its huge size the screen is actually quite small (smaller than a Vyper); 2. the information is not as well set out as a Vyper (for example if you are ascending with no visual reference point it is far easier to assess ascent rate on a Vyper than the VR3 (if anyone knows any way to improve this I would appreciate it if you could let me know); 3. extortionate cost of upgrades; Moan, moan, moan.................... |

| Christ on a Bike The fact that there is such a trail suggests that there are improvements to be made. In my view and experience, SERVICE. Lovely dive comp but non-responsive after sales...in fact, fucking useless. I still haven't got a response from a question I asked Simon about 9 months ago. Mr Gurr...kick some fucking arse and sort it out.

| Wrong kristen Disagree with everything you said. Do you need glasses...the Yyper has a clearer screen??? There is so much more info in the VR3 screen and bigger and clearer. kinetic

| So here goes, just waded through the 93 pages of this thread and now really not sure, I was going to get a VR2 as at the moment I am only doing air and nitrox diving down to about 40 metres. Now I have my lovely shiny new twins set (sponsored by ebay) I have been contemplating learning a bit more about deco diving so I can use more of my air 'while i'm down there' so I thought I might actually like it so much that deeper diving and longer diving may feature in my future. SO I looked here about getting a basic VR3, hell theres so much for and against I just dont know what to do. In summary is it worth getting the VR2 and risk having to sell it on later or shall I just bite the bullet and get the '3' and not use most of its capabilities perhaps! cheers, Scoobs
