New Suunto Software 2.0

It is not publised on Suunto site but you can download their new softare 2.0 version. It's only listed for the D9 but it works with the other computers as well. You have to transfer the SDL file which is easy enough. I havn't tried to download from the computer yet but apparently it should work.

The software is totally different but essentially the information is still the same. There are a couple of new graphs of SAC and temperature but I think it only works with D9 as the lines are linear.

Overall it looks like an improvement and will be curious to try it out further.

Blimey, I hope that the software inside the computers is better that the Dive Manager code.
It still looks like shareware to be honest.

If you compare the look of the Dive Manager to the polished look of their computers and their website, it doesn't really add up.
I can only assume that they farm the development out to another company.

It does appear technically sound, just looks noddy.

Pity, I was hoping for a lot better from Suunto

Thumbs down Looks good but can't connect!

I've installed version 2.0.1 and there is a function to import a log book from a previous version. This bit worked fine and the new interface looks good.

However I've tried everything and can't get my vyper to connect to the new software. If anyone has managed to get this to work I'd be interested to hear how.

At present under the dive computer section the only two options are 'D9' and 'Other suunto DC', neither of which work.

Looks like its only been tested with the D9 to me.

PS. My first post on the forum, I've lurked for a while, thought it was about time I registered and started posting, Hi everyone.
