| from the Suunto w3 Suunto Dive Manager unfortunately only works with Windows. But there's a person who has invented a method to get the software (Suunto Dive Manager, Suunto Activity Manager, Suunto Ski Manager.) to work with Macs. NOTE: Suunto doesn't take any responsibilities for this: Apple computers and Suunto computers...TOGETHER AT LAST! by scubadrew Date: 2002-11-19 Ingredients: 1. Keyspan (high speed) USB to RS232 serial adapter (9 pin) USA-19QW 2. Suunto Dive Manager cable and software version 1.4 3. Virtual PC 5.0.4 running Windoze 98- XP on Mac OS X.2.2 * Install Keyspan drivers for Mac OS X (version 1.4, available from the website). * Start up Virtual PC and install the Windoze drivers via the setup on the CD or download from website. * Shutdown windows and go to Virtual PC setting for Com Port 2. Set to USB adapter and activate DTR and CTS track RTS. * Start up Virtual PC and install Suunto 1.4 via MSN explorer inside WIndoze. * Start up Suunto and plug in all adapters and also the Suunto computer. Turn on the Suunto and go to TR-PC mode. * Select the model of Suunto you have in Suunto Dive Manager and just click transfer. * It'll be a little slow but it works. Chris
