Thumbs up Sensus Pro

Just before Chrimbo, there was much discussion on a high jacked thread about the Sensus Pro. For all of you interested, more info can be found here .

After emailing ReefNet, I've negotiated a really good discount and can buy the units for $75 each rather than $120 (this includes both the data logger and cradle), and around $20 for postage and packing for 5 units as long as we agree that they can send the items outside their usual, more bulky packaging.

I'm happy to sort this out and buy a load (we need 5 or more) to qualify for the discount. Add your name to the list below only if you’re serious, and intend to purchase one. At today's exchange rate, they'll cost £42 -£45 including my p&p to you, but I'll confirm the price in (£) once I've made the purchase and divide the cost equally + my P&P costs.

stupid question ... sorry ....

I may be interested (have to check bank balance tonight) but am I right in thinking that downloading to one device doesn't wipe the memory? So I could download to my Plam Pilot whilst on a dive trip then download to proper pooter when I got back home?

Sorry once again ...

I think the box holds 100 dives worth of info, plenty enough for an entire trip; that you can DL when you get home. I think theres specific s/w for the palm too. Have a look at the website http://www.reefnet.ca/products/sensus/index.asp

No problem. It is a very simple storage system that just cycles through the memory. Reading it always gets all the current log and the s/w just sorts out what is new. They publish the spec.

I have two (plus one reader) and they are wound up to 1 second interval recording (default is 10) so they can do free-diving profiles. I'm well pleased with them and I paid list plus one drop shipping so you guys are getting a deal.
