| Just had a price from a local Jewellers for the strap and battery/testing: Strap - £27.60 Battery & Testing - £43.95 These prices seem very steep to me, or am i just out of touch? The watch only cost £200!! There must be a cheaper way!

| The 32 quid was a battery replacement, but no strap. I use a Waterborne canvas strap, they are about 8 quid. |

It's caused by the water temperature being too cold. It makes it stop logging dives. This seems apparent when the temp goes below 10deg c. If you read the manual it does say something about the operating temp and 10deg c. You can also make it 'ERR' by leaving the sensor wet between dives so that the 'diver' display is always flashing. If it's the battery then you get a 'BAT' or 'BT' warning instead of 'ERR' (like I did at the weekend :-( ) If you send it to Citizen it's about £40 for the battery change and a pressure test. You can contact them at service@citizenwatch.co.uk they are usually pretty helpful. Ian. |
