Errrr Message on my Aladin Pro Nitrox

Having painfully trashed the soft tissues in my Knee on Monday decided to update my computer log book, pretend and hope the injury will not effect my May Red Sea Brothers trip. Should be ok...but sure will cut my gym time down.

Connecting to the Data Mouse I got a divelog countdown and then ERRRRRR.
The battery had 58% so it may be that.

Will be calling Uwatec...but wondered if anyone had had a similiar problem.

Adrian

Mine did the same at approx 48% at the initial descent on a shallow dive.
New battery fixed it.
Cheers, Malcolm.

I think it is the battery. When I ordered my Air Z the first one arrived displaying the same message. I took it back to the shop and the next three they pulled out of the cupboard were exactly the same. Thankfully they had one that was okay. I think they found they had a batch with faulty batteries.

It`s most likely the battery. Mine did the same with about 50% battery life left on it. Scubapro/Uwatec will tell you that even though there is loads of battery life indicated, it all depends on what kind of diving you do (ie cold water) and if your style of diving activates the audible alarms a lot.

I had to have mine changed late last year. I sent it to Scubapro. It took a week and cost about £40
