Cool Suunto Viper Download port

Has the size of the port on the rear of the Viper changed size? My Viper is about 3 years old, as is the lead (serial connection). My mate has just got a new Viper and my lead won’t fit his Viper. I’ve rang Suunto and their going to get back to me in a few days. I know they now do a USB lead but don’t know if they have changed anything.
Has anyone else had problems?
Sean

Karl saw the sea in a book once
My Vyper is about 6 months old. The download port on the back is approximately 5mm x 14mm and is a USB connection.

The only problem I've found with downloading data is the connection can get timed out, but other than that it's fine.

I'd be very surprised if it is different - I know they were planning on doing a USB interface, but there's no reason for it to have a different connector on the Vyper side.
