Water in my Suunto Compass ?

I took out my SUunto Cobra, and noticed that in the compass unit the fluid (oil?) surrounding the compass has what I think is water in it because there's what appears to be resistance spots all over the glass. Plus I think the fluid level is down as the 'bubble' when the unit is held flat now takes up more than half the window. Has my trusty compass reached the end of the road ?

Don't bother to answer the above, I've taken the unit apart & its leaking from behind the bezel above the fastening point and from the horizontal window.

I replaced my module 3 times mostly through sitting the tank on the console, or injuries whilst loading onto a rib. Wrist units seemed less prone to damage... but then i also had to replace my HID bulb 3 times last year - and lost my keys last night so had to break in - am just a walking kit mare... ;-)
