Memo-mouse holds loads (don't remember how much, I use my own 'home brew' contraption to download stuff cos I'm tight).

You would probably get away with just taking the memo mouse even on extended trips.

Many 'puters don't have '9 pin thingys' (serial ports) these days. If you do need to download the latest version of data-trak from the uwatec website, it is pretty painless.
I think it's 66 hours on the memomouse. I have memomouse working with my laptop so next week we can create a log for you and download it there and then if you want to see it, but it sounds like you have it sorted.

Shall go and have a look and check I have the latest version of Data trak

Doen't travel-trak only work with the latest generation dive computers (with infra-red hookup)?

Thats why I don't have my memo mouse anymore, I bought a new Alladin which has the infra red thingy (didn't know when I bought it) I have trouble transfering dives still though, I have to download them to a PC with XP pro on at work and then copy them to my laptop at home which has XP home version on, so a bit round the houses but I get there.

It works great on my PDA, I even dowloaded my RB trydive while still at Crap n' rainey on Sunday
