My local Suunto dealer - Diving Leisure in Battersea do a full service, battery change and pressure test on a stinger while you wait for £25-£30.

You need a special tool to remove the bezel on a stinger - unless you clamp it hard in a vice - loosen it with a hammer and chisel and then take a set of pliers to it of course.
I could forego the pressure test - or devise my own - perhaps I could stamp on it repeatedly to simulate a couple of atmospheres of pressure.
Yeah - I think I'll do that and save myself the grand sum of £17!

Screw up a diy battery change and its £400 down the drain and you have no-one to blame and no come-back.
