It depends on the diving you're going to do. For a single mix, either will do. However, I think a mosquito is a stinger in a cheaper case - you could nearly have one each for your budget. This also applies to a Gekko.

When I started diving (recently) I said I'd only need a single cylider rig. I've now got twins. When I started diving I said I'd never need a computer for more than one mix. I'm doing an IANTD advanced Nitrox for accelerated decompression in October.

I bought a Stinger. Lovely thing.

Wanna buy it so I can buy a Vytec??

Moral of the story - buy what you'll need in 2-3 years, not what you fancy now - or be a fashion victim like me!!!

D9 vs VR3 for a serious competition? You're having a laugh right????

Be safe,

Martin

Vyper

Thaks for the advice everybody. Eventualy I decided to buy neither and invest in a Suunto Vyper. Not used it yet so will let you know how it goes. Was about £90 cheaper than the Aladdin Tec or Stinger.
