Suunto Vytec DS
A new gas-switching, multi-mode, decompression dive computer with deep stop algorithm and optional wireless tank pressure transmitter.

Apparently just launched at DEMA.

Anyone seen one or got an opinion on the deep stop algorithm?

(Rant mode on)It would be better if Suunto spent their time fixing their crap software (Dive Manager DM) rather than bringing out new computers (rant mode off)

DM doesn't import the temperature profiles, it can't print to anything other than A4, It looses dive numbering on import, forgets the dive locations, can't export the profiles ...
and its been like that since the new version came out.

I re loaded the old version it works much better

This is a good thing, Lets hope we can get some of the big players into the Trimix game in the future as well.

Remember two points:

1, Selling dive computers us their main business.
2, ALL dive computer PC link software is, IMHO, sh*t (probably the only exception is the uplink software for the Vision electronics for the Inspiration).
