| What type of diving are you doing & plan to do using this computer? I.e. Gases, stages, OC vs CCR. Have you considered the Suunto Vytec computer, but may be a better buy if just planning to do air/nitrox with nitrox for deco on OC. JT Last edited by jptaylor9 : 23-01-06 at 11:10 AM. |

| Am OC for the moment, but am nitrox qualified (<40%), and intend to move on to advanced nitrox (want to be able to deco with stages) in the next year or so. Have no intentions of moving up to trimix as am more than happy to dive to max 40M. |

| If you really want a DeltaP computer, you might consider checking eBay for VR3s. I bought mine from there for a little over £400, and it'll do OC & CCR trimix (C4?).

| I use a Stinger and a VR2 now, and I think the VR2 is the best dive computer I've ever had. I didn't want a VR3 because I figure I'll never go the trimix route for the moment, and because the VR2 will link into a PPO2 sensor for a rebreather. Also, because I was a tight-arse. Couldn't justify the costs I was seeing for a VR3 at the moment. M.

Sounds just like me! The VR2 is around the £445 mark, (Kent are doing it for £437 + £5 P&P) and if I can get somewhere around the £100 mark for my Cochran, then it could be a goer. Quote:
Thanks anyway - advice much appreciated Quote:
Thanks anyway Cheers Martin |

That's where I bought mine from and they were great. Note that they don't keep them in stock and they get delivered direct from Delta-P. Mark. (DUR - just noticed that you quoted Kent's price above.

Bloody air divers. They should be lined up, hosed down with liquid O2 then have matches thrown at them.

Now it's Jdeco on the mobile and onto wet notes, plus Stinger in depth gauge mode and VR2 running.
