| I doubt you can get a Suunto from Go Dive, unless he has fallen back in with them. I heard there was a little spat a couple of years ago. I would agree about going for the Vytec rather than the Vyper. I wish i had done that, but hey ho.... now I get to have a shiny new one

| It depends on your current budget, your expected future budget and a bunch of other things....eyesight, your opinion of "style" etc.... Technology is improving all the time....how many of the Vytec owners wish they had the version with Deep Stops in it, for example? My advice would be to buy something that fits the bill now and when your diving stretches beyond that then buy a new computer that's got all the latest and greatest features on it at that time. The Vyper is a very popular recreational dive computer so I would have thought it fits your need well. Rgrds Mal P.S. If the PC interface is not important to you then the Gekko may be an alternative which saves a few pennies. |

| We have had 2 vytecs for 3 years now and they are great. I believe in buying once and not changing because something is trendy. We paid £280 or so from go dive. Personally I wouldn`t worry about the deepstops because if I am diving deep its used as gauge or I do deep safety stops anyway. ![]() |

| I'd say that the Gekko is a good choice also - if you are mostly warm water divers then you probably wouldn't be doing multi-gas dives so the single mix, nice and simple style of the gekko would be fine however I have a vyper and it's great for me, if ou did get one then you wouldn't be dissapointed |
