Problems with Suunto Vyper

My Vyper seems to prefer to ignore the fact that I'm diving (at 35m and not even in dive mode ). Now, I'm not too bothered as I have a feeling the Suunto will sort it out for me, probably with a replacement unit. However, I bought it 2nd hand, should I mention this when I contact Suunto, or should I pretend I bought it new?

My dealings with Suunto in the past are that I wish all firms had their level of customer service. They fixed my viper, gave it a new battery and sent it back to me free of charge. This was after it was recovered from the bottom of a house reef in the Red Sea after an accident which was my fault

My advice would be to be up-front with them but either way, I can't see them trying to stiff you over the repair.

Tricky,
just send it back to Suunto, AFAIK they wont even ask you if the unit is second hand or not.

So, those of you who've had computers repaired/replaced by Suunto, how did you initiate the contact with them?

Great, thanks for the info. I checked out the website, but couldn't find their UK contact details.
