| I use an M1, and I'm quite happy with it. I got it second hand from a YDer, and I think it has done about 100 dives in its life so far. There have been expressions of doubt about it on here, in that a few people have had the buttons fail, but so far mine has been good. The best thing about it, is that it takes normal AAA batteries (2 of) inside a waterproof compartment, which is what gives it its unusual shape at the rear/top of the unit, but that means that you can get spare batteries for it from just about anywhere. I'd recommend it for general usage. I cannot comment on its performance for Nitrox, as I haven't dived it that way, but it can do it, the previous owner to me had used it that way, and it does all the possible nitrox mixes.
